The glass containers are very sturdy and large. At first I thought them to be TOO LARGE.I have adjusted to their size and like them. The setting of the grinding mechanism for coarse or fine salt and/or pepper is OK.I like that the contents are visible making it extremely easy to know when to refill. Storing in a cupboard may be a small issue particularly given the height of these two containers.These were nice at first. Some how the top part of the glass were the grinder screws on broke and there was glass in my salt. I had to dispose of it all. Very fragile glass not very long lasting.These are a littler larger than I imagined, but won’t need to refill as often.? They look nice (simple design) and work well. Leaving them on the counter for use while cooking. Would buy again.This is what I have been looking for. It’s perfect and beautiful and was so excited it came. Filled it up with my peppercorns and Himalayan pink salt and started to use it. Sadly after 4 days, the grinder where I had my pink salt stopped grinding. I tried everything to fix it. I thought it was the grind dial but the top part of the grinder just turns loosely. So disappointed. Maybe I just got a bad set. The other one works. I wanted to take it back but didn’t have the energy to do so.I thought these would be commercial grade and capable of everyday use but that is not how we use them. The glass is on the thinner side and one wrong bump or they get knocked over or they are set down too hard and they will break. I even feel that the neck would break off if I accidentally tightened it too hard.They need to be made thicker and stronger.Nice salt and pepper grinders, especially for the price. The only thing I don't like is the dumb "VKCHEF" logo on the grider part. With such a simple product design, the ugly logo really stands out and cheapens the product. Wish they would have put it on the bottom or not at all. :/Bought them because I liked the design and price but not even within a month of use the one used for pepper has broken!!Nice simple spice grinder. Clean modern look. Grinding mechanism is adjustable and works well with my black pepper corns and red pepper flakes. I think it would make a very useful gift for fellow foodies.
