Strong, fresh peppery flavor. Far superior to supermarket products.Wow, this stuff has some serious punch. I really like black pepper a lot and go through a lot of it, and felt like trying something different instead of picking up the usual package of McCormick whole peppercorns at the store, so I ordered these off Amazon. These are extremely spicy, in a good way. I find myself using half or less of the number of twists of the pepper grinder that I used to, and the flavor is spectacular.packages were all busted open. peppercorns were strewn about the shipping box. shipping box must have gotten wet at some point because it was still damp. smells moldy. pepper cannot be used. waste of money.Good product, good price.These peppercorns are very fresh and aromatic.
