Unscrew and remove stainless steel top from gloss body by turning it counter clockwise. 2. Pour in salt, pepper or any spice of your choice and screw back the top tightly. 3. Remove the grinder lid and adjust the grinder coarseness level by turning knob clockwise for fine grinding and counterclockwise for coarse grinding. 4. Grind by turning the grinder upside down and rotate the gloss body clockwise. Do not twist back and forth. 5. Put the grinder's lid back on when you finish grinding. Bon Appétit! CLEANING TIP: We recommend not to take the grinding mechanism apart when cleaning the grinder. If you do take the grinder mechanism apart – be very careful not to lose any parts!
